  1. Ooh, I thought more songs (besides the singles) had at least 80 million streams.
  2. I don't hate, it's just too painfully generic for a Gaga song but i still bop to it, I almost never skip it
  3. Why hasn't Billboard changed their radio thing? It's way too influential and easy to manipulate, I still don't know why it's such a big deal for Billboard.
  4. I think it's because Break My Soul is solo. They will always say Shallow was supported by a movie and a collab with a married man that helped fuel rumors of a romance aka a good PR stunt. I'm happy Bey got a #1 hit but it's mainly because of radio payola.
  5. The critics absolutely loved the album. I'm sure critics know more about critiquing music than an Ava Max stan. JK, but I do think this is her best album in terms of production. Plastic Off The Sofa's transition into Virgo's Groove >
  6. I mean, Renaissance IS her most experimental project, it's a very enjoyable dance record without falling in the typical cheap four on the floor beat all the time and you can tell she had a vision with this one and she's just happy she accomplished it and succeeded at it. At the end people liked it, and numbers don't lie. The fact that she's 25 years into her career and still being so successful is a reason for her to be proud, happy and emotional.
  7. I just don't understand why Gaga had about 3 years to prepare this tour and the stage design is... really poor? Don't get me wrong I love the concept but the stage itself is pretty bland, obstructing and small. She could have had a real movable structure in the same style of brutalist architecture with an open (not boxed) stage so everyone can actually see what's going on stage. This is Gaga's most boring and lazy tour stage yet, it's like a stage designed for a one-night festival but at least she compensates with her amazing energy and vocals.
  8. Unless they professionally film the performances and upload tl YouTube or something then maaaaybe
  9. Yeah I know the ARTPOP era isn't exactly her most profitable But I feel like people are now are more open to experiential or conceptual albums, and I can see Gaga getting more support from Interscope this time around for promo and stuff, specially considering her streaming power has grown tremendously since 2013. Imagine a new photoshoot with an ARTPOP theme, a high budget video or something IDK. I feel like ARTPOP could get the justice, love and success it deserves in this time and age.
  10. That’s why I said she could rework some songs or use some concept melodies she had for that album. IMO it would be so cool.
  11. I was just thinking about how crazy it would be for Gaga to release ACT II of ARTPOP next year for the album's decade birthday. I can see Gaga reworking those songs to sound more modern and better overall and change some lyrics while still maintaining the concepts of the songs and melodies, etc. It would be a bold move, but considering Gaga will be busy for a couple of months filming Joker and doing Las Vegas it could be a nice treat for fans. Now, I know that for Gaga, ARTPOP and those years in general are very triggering, but with the Chromatica Ball I can see Gaga has somehow returned to her former self (at least in performance) in a more mature way, which could make her look at the era with a different mindset and appreciate her art way more than she already does. The fans love ARTPOP (it's not my fav album but gosh, the memories I made with it) and I'm sure we would EAT THAT sh!t UP with no hesitation. She wouldn't have to promote it since it's just a continuation of her 2013 album. Many artists have already done sequels or second act with decades apart but for Gaga it would be a new type of release and would make the wait for LG7 way easier and fun. I know I'm delusional but imagine. The collab she had recorded or planned to record (Azealia Banks) could be replaced with someone else like Doja or Rihanna or someone underground. I feel like it would be such a fun record and interesting process to witness.
  12. The only "bad" thing about the album are probably the lyrics. Renaissance is universally praised. Beyoncé has once again reinvented herself and tried something she hadn't before, not to mention the vocal production and layering on this album is insane. The way every track transitions onto the other is fantastic. I hated it at first but noe I can't stop streaming it because it's way too good IMO and she lets the songs actually breath and develop themselves, none of these songs were made to be a smash either, so you can tell she wasn't looking for that. I also really really like how thud album feels very complete and purposeful in a way? Like, if I listen to one of the songs I have to listen to the others in order to get the full experience. It's great.
  13. It was Beyoncé who invited her. I hate how Beyoncé is giving the gays everything we want. A dope a** dance album with great production and master vocals and a collab with Madonna.
