  1. The King of Staten Island was also better than expected but I was also let down by the ending
  2. Same! Glad to see a LGBTQ narrative represented in a mainstream holiday movie. What did you think?
  3. Sexxx Dreams anyone? It was going to be the ARTPOP lead before Applause was birthed. I think Applause was still the correct lead, but I wonder if it would have done better than G.U.Y. with the GP
  4. aww sorry to hear that. I used to have guinea pigs too so I feel your pain
  5. This is Snoopy the Beagle. I think he would get along well with your dogs @NotDoctor and @little legend
  6. Taste! For the First Time and Breakeven are two of my faves from them. Hall of Fame too
  7. okay someone help the technologically-challenged - how do you upload an image without using a URL?
  8. Hands down 911 but Plastic Doll doesn’t deserve the hate it gets
  9. Looks pretty accurate to me! I was lucky to spend two months in Italy for a summer internship and had a blast! COVID aside I wish I could go back and experience 911 as a proper single!
  10. Selfish me: not canceling the TCB because I live so close to East Rutherford in NJ and haven’t seen Gaga live since TMB2.0 Unselfish me: to see her succeed in her Gucci acting role A new album would be nice too but I think that’s a big stretch
  11. The way Gaga promoted this song more than Just Dance and Poker Face especially on Gagavison early on in her career OT: it’s aged somewhat for me but agree it’s still a bop and good music video
  12. Lyrically I think We Could Be could fit on Chromatica (I would have preferred it to Engima), but I think you are right. I hope Frankenstein(ed) is next....
  13. Same! BN is a close second behind Future Love for me
  14. Came across this interesting article describing music fandoms in the past year. While (quietly lurking) among forums this year has been an escape from the loneliness of the pandemic, it was also saddening to see the amount of toxic negativity going on, so I am so happy to have found this welcoming community! Curious to hear if any fellow Popsters have other reactions or thoughts. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/25/arts/music/pop-music-superfans-stans.html Beyoncé’s BeyHive. The BTS Army. Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters. In 2020, loving a singer doesn’t just mean liking the music. It means tracking your favorite artist’s streaming statistics with the zeal of die-hard sports fans. It means organizing online with other fans to boost album sales. It even means raising more than $1 million for charity to match a star’s donation. Over the past decade, social media has helped turn fandom into a 24-hour job, The Times culture reporter Joe Coscarelli writes. And unlike admirers of sprawling franchises like “Star Wars” or the Marvel universe, music fans often devote all of their efforts to a single artist or band. That makes it a lot more personal. “You see yourself in your favorite artists — you associate with them, whether it’s just the music or it’s their personality,” one Lady Gaga fan told The Times. “So when someone insults your favorite artist, you take that as a personal insult, and then you find yourself spending hours trying to convince someone in China that ‘Born This Way’ was her best album.” To understand how pop music fandom got here, read the rest of Joe’s article here.
  15. which album are you referring to? I feel like it could be any of the three given current speculation: Chromatica, ASIB, or Joanne
  16. I hadn't heard this one before! I see how it was written during the BTW era and pre-ARTPOP with some elements of Gypsy and IWBWU/Dope. It is also somewhat of an antithesis to Princess Die which she also performed around that time
  17. Inspired by the Little Monster Choice Awards hosted by @KatieJudasGaga4 , and @DeanClownchester's recent thread, what are some of your favorite unreleased songs by Gaga? Especially those that might fly under the radar. Mine would be Future Love!
  18. I could see it as Fear of "infidelity" Monster
  19. Whoa, Jordin Sparks! Haven't heard that name in AGES
  20. Same! It's not one of the first that come to mind in Gaga's unreleased song collection, but agree about its potential!
  21. I only truly stan Gaga, but other artists that I like are: Halsey, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Juice WRLD , Twenty One Pilots, and a newbie, Ashe. EDIT: Oh, and P!nk is cool too
