Ok well it didn't necessarily have 90 degree turns, they were curved, but there were 4 turns instead of two, so it most closely resembled a square lol

OMG this describes my high school to a T. There were finally good gym electives for juniors/seniors like archery, table-tennis, and yes walking around the track (which was square). Why the school district would put it around a baseball field is beyond me

I am clearly in the minority here but I actually jumped at the opportunity to swap orchestra for gym class since I am artistically-challenged. I have tremendous respect for all of you that are graphic designers, musicians, dancers, etc...

the once per year requirement which always came as a surprise to the amusement of the gym teachers. Most in my classes dreaded it, but I loved it as well since running was the one thing I was actually good at But yikes, a graded PE class seems like no fun and a total turnoff. I can see why you disliked it. I am just learning how to do a sit-up correctly as core exercises have never been my strong suit.

yeah so to my previous point I would not accept anything after Aguilera

as long as it is "string-like" its okay, but if you start introducing verbs and articles then that's where I draw the line. But yes it is always good to be bold upfront!
