Where or what was everyone doing four years ago for Gaga's performance? I remember being at a small house party and no one was paying attention to the halftime show expect for me and I was desperately trying to hear Gaga sing over all of the room chatter

Probably because it doesn't exist in Greece (which is a good thing, imo). But here goes my essay: Fracking is the process of injecting a bunch of chemicals, sand, and large amounts of water through cracks in the ground at high pressure in order to recover and extract mainly natural gas (but also oil) for fuel burning. The industry has exploded here in the US in the last few years, such as in the state of PA, which has created jobs and resulted in reduced energy costs. Natural gas has been called a "clean" source of energy, which compared to more polluting energy sources like coal, it is, but there are issues that are starting to come to light such as methane leakages and groundwater pollution. There is a tug-of-war between environmentalists who see fracking and natural gas as only a bridging process/energy source to transition to 100% renewable energy, and the oil/gas industry which wants to continue to invest in fracking and build pipelines, even though the supply is ultimately unsustainable. Hence the contentious political debate on banning fracking during the 2020 US elections and why the Trump administration tried to go after Gaga as being anti-fracking.

I didn't like it on first listen but it really grew on me especially after watching the music video. I agree it is great and of course loved the nods to her idols I really like Halsey and want to dive deeper into her non-singles. Which off of Manic (and any others would you recommend)? finally//beautiful stranger deserves more attention imo and 3am is lowkey a bop
