  1. As much as Elon is a controversial figure, I’m here for this one and applaud him as this is the type of bold type of fossil fuel “divestment” signaling we need from industry rn
  2. I saw the Valentino ad on TV over the weekend (Mothers Day push ) and was shook.
  3. Difference between night and day
  4. The way no one is safe The fact that you and @ShesAMess had 2/3 in common this round...
  5. aww thanks for the praise but no worries, you got my back last time. As long as someone out there keeps salvaging me with one vote thank you to whoever that was this round
  6. Also @Sir.Sim I'll give you a shoutout for your third place with Fantasy in your trio - congrats
  7. Hey work smarter, not harder, as the host once said in another game But I'm sure it's no coincidence, you have a knack for this game and great music taste, congrats
  8. @Twitter you keep outdoing yourself with this lowkey, but iconic rant. But congrats on third place! You didn't disappoint (not that I doubted you)
  9. Thanks! Sorry you missed the cut. I know you are very passionate about this theme. But hoping you make it out. Good luck Blushing but knew you would kill it this round Well-deserved win (and immunity!) @Franch Toast also deserves credit for Poison. I voted for yours because you were the only other one to include the early 90's hit in your trio. Also you had Killing Me Softly With His Song which is a classic Seems like we have very similar tastes Congrats to the other winners and fellow safe contestants, and best of luck to those in the vote-off!
  10. I blame my natural tendency to underestimate everything, but you’re right you did give me a fair warning
  11. And I thought CC set the bar pretty high. This forum never fails to surprise me ....I’m here for the excitement though
  12. Glad I missed the drama earlier, but anyways....I'm really surprised there wasn't more overlap, at least that made voting easy for me, but I'm scared for this outcome
  13. Visited the ‘rents this weekend and they made me watch some movie called Poison Rose. It was meh. John Travolta has been better But then re-watched ASIB for the first time since I saw it in theaters and it was a whole new experience. Picked up on a lot more of the subtleties and ofc it was fun to be able to sing along to the songs this time
  14. Ok submitted. Hoping I don’t do my own birth decade wrong on this one. There are so many good choices
  15. Ugh this is me trying to decide among tracks right now but I think I’m going to go with R&B dominant songs rather than R&B influenced
  16. I agree, SL was a big grower for me, as well as Fun Tonight, Free Woman, and Sour Candy. I would say I still enjoy most of the tracks as equally as I did about a year ago, although I would say Alice has slipped a bit, but maybe that’s just cause I was so obsessed with it originally
  17. I've always loved this one by Langston Hughes: DREAMS Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field Frozen with snow.
  18. Thanks for saving me but yes Summer of '69 is a nostalgic summer love song that reminds me of the dance floors at uni reunions. I played it safe with the others and tried different moods, but thinking I should just focus on being consistent with the theme next time Congrats to the winners of this round and good luck to those in the vote-off!
  19. Taste right there welcome to the forum!
  20. Also you too @NotDoctor. Missed out on your wittiness with your being a judge
  21. That too but I was thinking more of @PETTY and the complete 180
  22. I'm very impressed after what I saw during Hunger Games
  23. @PETTY's self-restraint as a host to maintain professionalism and not spill
  24. IN. Let the second-guessing begin
