I was not expecting her to go there, but at the same time she has been gradually building up to this moment ever since the MTN video. You can really piece together her healing journey now, and I’m glad she has the courage to share it because she’ll continue to save lives. There was a sound bite at the end of the episode where she makes it clear she is not doing this for self-pity but to help others. It’s like we are reliving the BTW era. New message but same impact and caring Gaga/Stefani

The Bowie bolt

All of Chromatica is so consistently great that it is difficult to choose one Alice-911-Replay were my holy trinity, but I've also succumbed to overplaying them so I need a break although I think Replay will continue to stand the test of time ROM on the other hand still hits hard, so I'll take it for now

Not necessarily undiscovered, but I think underrated - Ashe She's an indie pop artist. Think Olivia Rodrigo lyrics about coming of age and break-ups mashed with Billie's aesthetic and sound

THIS. Plus: While the Xtina one was a nice duet and I’m glad we have it as a different take on the song, I don’t think Xtina elevates the song or adds anything that Gaga could have done herself. When watching the performance it seemed to me that Gaga and Xtina were both trying to be the dominant voice rather than complimenting each other like Ari and Gaga do perfectly in ROM

yeah I would consider those two songs ballads, so glad your risk paid off and that you have an (unfortunate, given the circumstances) but personal connection to the Ari song and my comment the other day about Demi was just because I was warned that her songs in the past don’t get too many votes and I’ve gotten the sense she’s generally not liked around here, but clearly voters this season can look past any differences with artist likability So id give JB a chance in future rounds

I struggled with the definition too I also immediately think slow songs, but up tempo songs can be ballads too. I think the story-telling aspect is key here as well. One of my picks is definitely controversial but it was approved by @PETTY so we shall see if others think too...
