    no one said it was a flop (actually I explicitly said it wasn't last page ) but you said it was not very far from ROM's level which might be the case in the US (tho I don't agree) but it's not the case overall. I don't know the spotify streams for Lover, but ROM came out almost a year later and it already has twice the views from the Lover video.

    because they might have done on par in the US but the difference of performance of both songs internationally probably is abysmal.

    the guy that made the roses remix that was the biggest dance track of 2020. So many artists have tried to copy the sound of this track now its considered a genre of its own called Slap house.
