I was talking about what she did after Thank You, No Excuses was clearly an attempt to go back to the title era both in sound and in aesthetic, and the GP clearly wasn't interested in that. The bunch of songs she released afterwards were great (Let You Be Right and All The Ways are among her best material) but after the letdown of No Excuses neither the radios or the GP gave her another chance. When she finally released her third album, she could've taken that chance to take a step forward with her music and she did not.
