I think we should avoid discussion of how we would want to be mods in this thread. It may clog it up. The time will come for mod apps, probably pretty soon, so we should probably wait until then to discuss it.

Her saying that there really aren't any good candidates for mods at that moment really, really aggravated me. Mainly because I wanted to become a mod there and it seemed like they were looking down on regular members. It became more and more apparent that long-term mods forgot what it was like to be a regular member of a forum.

I am confusing the 'wtf' and 'thanks' reactions because they're both white, but so far that's been my only problem. I think that going forward maybe switching them around or editing the names or something could be something that's beneficial, but I'm glad that we have different reactions to start with!

I know that a free (unless you want more features) alternative is Discord. I'm not sure about your familiarity with it, but it has a ton of features, different chat channels, voice chats, etc. And you can set up clear rules on there and have the forum mods moderate the discord as well!

Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you, just as users. We want this to be successful, too.

What's wild is that this is only the number of people that have self reported that they've been banned. Who knows how many people actually have been.

I hope Gaga's next album is a jazz album with Tony. She needs to work with him again before he passes away or she will never forgive herself. I'm not saying this to be shady, but it's true. I hope she's aware that the day he passes is coming sooner than any of us want it to. He has a true love and respect for her and I really, really hope she recognizes that and puts out a master work together of original songs and duets.

I was having mixed feelings about all of it until Kirill deleted a thread showing support for Islam/Muslim people and Brazil fans. That was the final nail the casket for the website, imo.

Same damn thing happened to me I only say condolences because it can be sad to have spent years somewhere only to have been tossed aside for standing up for what you believe in.

I have truly been sitting here with a smile on my face, near tears, with how positive people have been towards each other today. I know that it's new and fresh, but I have some high hopes for this. I truly would love to help moderate and support Admin to the best of my abilities. I also think that there should be a PA911 discord server, but that can come in time.

i'm waiting to see the specs on the new macbook processors and i NEED the launch date of the new iphones. My contract is almost up on the one I have now so I'm itching to get a new one. I am a bit annoyed though. I just got a new, really powerful macbook pro last year that I thought would be great for 5 or 6 years, but now I'm afraid apple won't be pushing updates to it for the OS or software as it requires a different programming architecture

I think that Chromatica, thematically, is the closest to a self titled album we've gotten so far. I do think that she uses music to reinvent herself a lot, though, so a self titled album may feel a bit contrived for her as she may feel like her soul changes with each album. Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga toyed with the idea of calling Chromatica "Gaga." She got the G-A-G-A tattoo while recording it.

The fact that trans and enby people have to fight for their lives (babylon) in their own minds and homes is enough of a struggle. Of all places, like you said, they should at LEAST get basic human decency on a Gaga forum - she has a #1 song mentioning trans people, for god sake. It doesn't make sense to me why people that fought out for that protection and equality were vilified and made seen as the aggressor while the people that were actively transphobic were seen as victims when people would be rude to them. If someone tells you someone's pronouns 5 times and you actively refuse to use them, that is an act of violence and I don't care about their feelings after that point.

Hey friends I'm not sure where the best place to post this is as I'm still getting used to this new forum, but I have a request to @admin: Now that this website has a pronouns slot, can we please have strict adherence to this? Meaning, if someone has pronouns in their profile and someone doesn't use them correctly (aside from sis, girl/gurl, slang terms, etc...), can we please make it punishable? And if someone doesn't have them but someone doesn't change after a quick correction, can there please be moderative action? On other forums, people that pointed it out and defended the people being misgendered were the ones that faced the consequences. I want to make sure that trans people are respected and loved here and feel safe. Obviously, people may mess up and we need to leave room for that and if they are remorseful and correct themselves definitely 'show mercy,' but for people that actively refuse or fight about it - something needs to happen to those types of users.

I'm really glad that I started the thread title "GGD Has a Problem" about the pronouns thing. It made a lot of people show their true colors and, not to toot my own horn, was a start of the downfall of the place
