I love love love Rina, we all know this, but this song is tame for her. It could be because it's two years old, was written in 2018, but it seems tame and boring in comparison to her album. Hopefully this isn't the path she's taking, I need more metal/industrial sounds from her. Not more watered-down EDM.

I don't think she will win, but she won't lose to JB - it'll be given to Taylor. In both of Gaga's categories she's against Folklore and Cardigan.

After these nominations I can officially say I've lost confidence in the Grammys tbh. I'm literally not upset about Gaga not getting general field categories, I wasn't really expecting her to. I want to know if The Weeknd even submitted anything for The Grammys, but I doubt that he decided against it. If they didn't nominate him for anything after one of the most successful songs ever and an incredible album then they are truly a joke.

Those things don’t help. I’m on meds, people remind me, trust me - I know how to do what is necessary and I know the standard steps to get there, but what people need to understand is that there is a literal wall in people’s brains that prevent them from doing these things.

I wasn’t offended? I was saying that you shouldn’t judge someone’s life and what they’re able to do without understanding what may be stopping them from doing it. I never said it was okay or acceptable to not take care of yourself.

Well ADHD is a condition that affects your ability to do things, it’s called executive dysfunction. It quite literally does prevent you from doing things you need to do. Also, the reminders and stuff work to a certain extent but they rarely do. It’s a problem for almost ADHD people that they don’t work. And yes, I am aware that it’s important. Mental illnesses and conditions can have extreme physical manifestations and they’re different for each person. Someone may have issues taking a shower, some have issues with brushing teeth. Telling someone to use reminders, while attempting to be helpful, can be considered as patronizing or infantilizing someone. Of course we’ve tried reminders, sticky notes, etc. - it’s that our brains legitimately will not allow us to get up and do something. It isn’t as simple as we want it to be.

Everyone believes in it, but someone’s ability to actually perform these tasks on a regular basis is the big problem. As someone with severe ADHD, I will often forget to brush my teeth days at a time. I’ll forget to wash clothes so then it’s been 6 weeks and I’m out of clean underwear, then I end up leaving everything in the wash for another 3 days. I think judging someone’s personal hygiene without understanding why it may be lacking or not up to your standards isn’t the way to talk about it. Everyone has the same basic understanding of it but the same ability to do it.

Yep! I tend to buy every album I love on CD or burn it to a CD if I can't find a physical copy. I have a 6-disk changer in my car radio so that's the only place I listen to them, though.
