That moment when you wakeup 3 hours late cause your phone glitches out and starts ALL your alarms when you turn on your phone and not when they were supposed to go off like Trisha on a hot Tuesday
The melody, the production, the key, the lyrics, I just find it melancholy, it reminds me of times I never even had but still somehow have nostalgia for, and it's like the 911 of BTW, I find the edited vocals very emotional
The melody in the chorus, it sounds super sad and heartbreaking, I imagine Gaga literally crying while singing this song in bed with tissues in a luxury 5 star room as being part of the music video

Venus, but not by much at all though, I just LOVE everything about it and I have so many amazing memories listening to this song while playing Minecraft with my cousins and just jamming out while slaughtering eachother during Survival Games
My choir teacher literally just said “I have a friend that has a friend that’s actually gonna be playing in the band for Lady Gaga” when I brought up that she was doing the national anthem today
I honestly had NO idea Bright was made by them till like October of last year, my dad was even surprised because it’s a song we heard on the radio a LOT and we just never took the time to see who made it
Cool Kids by Echosmith
So back in late 2014 right before 5th grade started, I heard this song on the radio with my mom. The opening guitar melody and song as a whole just reminded me of winter, like if winter itself (not Christmas or the Holidays), it would be this song.
But also I was going through a hard time fitting in and this song really made me feel something, because back then the music I listened to was like Blow by Kesha and not really empowering like this.
I still love it till this day and I almost ALWAYS add it to my playlists
It sounds so emotional and heartbreaking, especially the “I could be your girl girl girl” part. To me it’s the “911” of the album, it’s my most favorite track on BTW and nothing will ever change my mind, so no, it has its purpose and it’s not a skip.
