Why do you say that? The first film got 11 Oscar nominations and won 2 including best actor for Phoenix….and Angela Bassett is on her way to an Oscar nomination for the BP sequel so clearly they will nominate her for Harley if the role is phenomenal

My fiancé was running late to work because he was at the house watching Oscar nominations with me, I have never seen a gay run as fast as he did when Gaga was snubbed, he DID NOT WANT TO BE AROUND ME He didn’t even stick around for one of his favorite directors to also be snubbed

I was too I remember being so so so sad and mad, I wanted that nomination so bad for her after the sh!t everyone had said about her throughout the season. The snub almost felt like it gave credence to those nasty people who sh!t on her all award season….

I didn’t get over it in a single day that’s for sure she wasn’t a lock but she was as close to one as you could get, historically speaking she had like a 99% chance to get nominated after netting GG, CCA, SAG, BAFTA nominations AND winning NYFCC which is one of the biggest critic awards of the season. The snub totally stung, she’ll come hard with Joker 2 though I just know it
