There are so many different “tactics” used nowadays by labels that number one singles seem so unimportant nowadays. Longevity and overall consumption is so much more important than a label getting a cheap #1 for a week. Maybe it’s because I’ve also gotten older but I just don’t find myself really caring and needing chart success. Like who cares if your song is #1 or #5 as long as people are singing it and loving it. f- the charts honestly, artists just release massive albums now for the stream and clicks. It’s all so tiresome. I miss the days of actual ARTISTS, it seems like we’re just past that time.

Yes, if Gaga is going to be announced she will be announced tomorrow I think. Rihanna - Last thursday Diane Warren - last friday weekend break This is a life - Monday NN - Tuesday Gaga announcement tomorrow or she’s not performing would be MY GUESS…but of course it doesn’t have to be tomorrow, but the ceremony is next Sunday so it should be this week
