Up to a 54 (+1) on metacritic with 23 (+1) reviews edit: the OG Joker having a 59 is a f-ING CRIME. That movie is a legit 10/10 I loved it so much

I’m honestly more upset about the reviews about her being shoved to the side and not utilized to her full potential than the reviews that just don’t think the movie was good. I really hope that the next film project Gaga signs on to she’s the MAIN CHARACTER..like I want a movie that’s about HER where she’s the main focus for an hour plus and then is shelved with the last third of the movie

Oh I completely agree, I don’t think a nomination is happening either way. I was more just saying for the sake of simply campaigning at some point but I am in total agreement. I’m not letting myself think it either. I mean the globes does allow six nominees now but yeah I feel you I’m not very hopeful either

If the wider audience viewing this movie doesn’t change its ratings I can see Gaga having an easier time getting into Supporting Actress…there are the Netflix girls (Saldana & Gomez) and then Danielle Deadwyler… after that the category seems bare with Anjuane Ellis having very little impact in her film the Nickel Boys from last weeks reviews, Isabella Rossellini having little screen time in Conclave and from what it seemed Julianne Moore was more raved about that Tilda for TRND Of course there is still Blitz/Ronan but part of me wonders if WB will view this as the easier path to a nomination…. @xo_hours @Leptine thoughts?

Luke really thought Gaga was good! He understand why she would go Supporting, he doesn’t feel that it would be category fraud and he feels at times that she was sidelined. And he wanted to see more. He thinks Gaga could still get a Supporting Actress nomination and is currently predicting her for a nomination. 8/10

everyone begging for more Gaga she really needs to choose a movie where SHE IS THE FOCUS OF THE f-ING MOVIE

Well, I’ll set my expectations low for awards season wise for JFAD wonder if this one will still manage to get a lot of support in the academy given that the original also only has a 59 on metacritic. Interested to see where this goes! either way Gaga is still smashing with DWAS and looked amazing on the red carpet and hopefully the movie still does really well at the box office
