The way none of the big pop ladies of past MET Galas didn’t go…no Gaga, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor, Billie, Katy etc. even they know this show is NOT WORTH IT (dying at Doja Cat literally caring so f-ing little she wore a white t shirt and called it “inspired” )

The MET Gala has turned into one of the most boring “must see events” of the year Hardly anyone even tries for a theme, it really has started to reek of “let’s get a bunch of celebrities in one place so everyone can talk about how hot they are” Idk maybe it’s just my age showing but I feel like this event always is overhyped and always under delivers. edit: Lea Michelle is the perfect example, people on my tv are literally being like “this is a huge moment omg she is stunning omg the detail” because she slapped some flowers on a dress….idk it’s just so lazy lol

Oh absolutely! But that was a tour that was promoting an album rereleased years prior. I was never shocked that the tour didn’t move the needle given how overdue it was. Whereas these people are showing up for a girl who released her album this weekend, hopefully these same people are streaming and buying if they’re going to a “last minute” announced show. still loving “These Walls” and “Falling Forever”
