I also love the charts and I love to see Gaga slay them like no other, but sometimes there are bigger things going on. And if 2020 has taught me anything, it’s to put aside that petty stuff that doesn’t really matter and focus on the important things. As much as I would love to spend 24/7 worrying about if Gaga is gonna fall off the UK chart 5 months after the album came out or how many daily streams 911 is receiving, people are dying and an election is 27 days away And that isn’t shitting on anyone here for caring about the charts, we all need that escape once in a while. Just sharing a perspective that’s all. Here’s to many more years of Gaga slaying the charts and many more years of Shallow having 1M+ updates on Spotify

Can you imagine having to restart that era for like a 3rd time? I feel so bad that they CLEARLY had an amazing rollout planned and then everything happened, Gaga isn’t the type of artist that can see the world going through what it was and focus on herself, she’s not that selfish. She doesn’t care about numbers that much. I’m sure we’ll get more album promo in the future but people expecting like a 1 month of straight promo after promo just need to stop. It ain’t happening. After everything that happened Gaga probably doesn’t have the energy to try and jumpstart an era for the 3rd time, and I don’t think I plan her honestly. It would suck the happiness out of anyone to go through this the shit that the Chromatica release did. edit: believe me I wish we had more being done with 911 and SFA right now but it just is what it is at this point, it stinks but there is always more Gaga projects in the future

You’re right, Gaga released an album and then realized that maybe raising money and awareness for a global pandemic as well as giving a voice to BLM groups during and after the murder of George Floyd on her social media was a little more important than promoting her single that already gone #1. Y’all really need to GTF over that. I will never understand people who seriously shit on Gaga for caring more about the planet than album sales what a sad life to think like that, I could never.

Gaga = Best first week sales since 2011, Top 5 platinum solo single, then another #1 song coming for 2x platinum once it’s all said and done, one of the highest streamed females albums of 2020, most worldwide #1s of the year for all females Dua = Massive WW hit with DSN and other streaming/radio hits with Physical and BMH, one of the highest streamed female albums of 2020 Billie = 2019 album still getting amazing streams, Everything I wanted and No Time to Die were great successes!!!!!! Cardi = upcoming album that’s gonna slay, #1 song Megan = 2 #1’s and one of the best new artists of the last 2 years Ariana = 2 #1’s Taylor = a #1 hit and amazing album sales, one of the most streamed female albums of 2020 I REPEAT....THEY ALL DID GREAT IN 2020

It’s actually kinda comforting knowing that any radio airplay Gaga gets (as little as it is) is actual genuine Airplay determined by radio stations and not PAID PLAYS. y’all need to realize that half of these people are literally gonna be 5-10 year fads in pop culture MAX which is why their radio labels are paying for plays. Dua is gonna be replaced by the next basic pop girl and Shawn is gonna be taken over by the next white body with guitar. They’re literally flash in the pans who lack established fan bases to get ACTUAL sales by themselves. I literally don’t really know a single soul who actually listens to the radio while in the car unless they absolutely have to. So many people plug their own devices and listen to their own music because they don’t want to listen to the same songs for 6 months. American radio is SO BORING. edit: and clearly corrupt AF lol

Will never understand why they stopped pushing ROM on radio (at least to keep the song a float on radio for an additional couple of months) and then proceeded to take the song off TTH...makes no sense to me
