Has she ever belted.....? Like truly had a song where she didn’t basically whisper? Don’t get me wrong there are a handful of Selena songs that I throughly enjoy (Bad Liar, Good for You, Same Old Love) but she TENDS to be a one trick pony, she does a lot of whisper tracks and then a lot of EDM dance tracks, which is fine. She’s just not my type of artist that I fall in love with. I don’t find her music engaging at all! Everyone has their own taste though :) Rare went #1 so she obviously has fans! edit: I did love “Ring” ngl

I didn’t ask if she’s been successful, I know she’s had hits lol, doesn’t mean I find Selena as an artist at all interesting or engaging. To each their own of course, but the only thing remotely interesting about LYTLM was that AMA performance. But of course that’s just my opinion.

YASS can’t wait for more of the same from the King and Queen of boring honestly though....have Selena and Drake ever done anything remotely interesting in the last 5 years....
