NO JFAD AT NYFF I’m kinda getting worried about this movie yall…seems like it’s just Venice and done in terms of festivals and Gaga is probably going supporting

But also, wtf if D’Mile & Anderson Paak are producing…those aren’t producers that Gaga would typically produce an album with….it definitely seems like it’s PRODUCED to be a BRUNO MARS song.

I’m putting my dollars on a JFAD companion album ala Prince’s “Batman” album. It would make sense as the “special project” Gaga advised she was making music for. And it makes sense in sense of the Prince hints that she was making a couple of months ago. Plus she was also wearing Joker shirts in the studio around that time…. It could be a one off single made for the official soundtrack but I honestly don’t know why they would have Bruno collab with Gaga UNLESS THEY WANTED TO TO PUSH THE SONG FOR ORIGINAL SONG at the Academy awards..but if the rumors are true and it does sample “Smile” by NKC then it won’t be eligible for the Oscar….

What project is the is song for I’m so confused also ugh if it’s being led by Interscope…was really hoping Atlantic would be pushing this with their coins. Pray to god they actually promote this well and playlist it.

The first joker literally went to like every single fall festival (Venice, TIFF, New York, London) and one could argue that if JFAD isn’t taken to as many fall film festivals that they don’t believe in it as much as the original. now one could also argue that the first one NEEDED those festivals in order to create that buzz and create good work of mouth due to the nature of the movie whereas JFAD doesn’t really need that boost. It’s bound to make a sh!t ton of money. One could also argue that maybe they don’t want as much leaked about the money prior to release and therefore aren’t taking it everywhere. Im hopeful to goes to the NYFF, I was always hesitant about TIFF.

Ugh…it it ONLY goes to Venice…… that would be tragic compared to the first that basically made the whole festival circuit….
