saw this on GD and figured I’d share. Given Gaga’s stats if she gets a SAG nomination today she should have a 95% chance to be nominated for an Oscar, only two other actresses this century has missed with those stats.

BAFTA long list (list of 15 top actresses which will be narrowed down to 6) also comes out today, in approximately 40 mins BAFTA long list in 40 min SAG in 1:40min a lot of girls Oscar chances ride on what happens in the next 2 hours….

Since the year 2000, only 6 actresses out of 59 misses the Oscar nomination after getting a Drama GG + CC + SAG nom….the last time it happened was 2016 with Amy Adams (nomination chance of 89%) you add all that with Gaga’s NYFCC and all other actresses with her noms and wins would have been nominated for the Oscar when it’s all said and done. so yes SAG in Wednesday will be big and if Gaga gets a nomination she basically has a 90% chance to get nominated at the Oscars, that gets reduced to about 63% chance if she misses

Yeah I respect both yalls opinion! It’s such a crazy tight race this year! SAG will tell us a lot! Here’s hoping we’re all celebrating Wednesday morning and maybe even tomorrow with another globe win

To be honest I actually do think Kidman might be the more weaker of Gaga/Kidman given she’s won literally nothing and Gaga has a critic Trifecta win and more noms overall…but I’m incredibly nervous about Kidmans industry support being stronger than Gaga’s when it comes to the Oscar chance. And I’m getting more and more nervous about Cruz given she’s won 2/3 of the Critic Trifecta I think Chastain, Colman and Stewart and safe at this point. It really will come down to SAG, if Gaga can get a SAG nom with the GG Drama + CC + NYFCC win I don’t see how she misses a nom, if she misses the SAG though…I’m not logging in on Wednesday morning let me tell you

This was to be expected BUT expect more people to drop Gaga for Cruz following today, Gaga being absent at pretty much the last 8-9 critics group and Cruz picking up a lot of wins and noms in LA/NSFC is NOT helping Gaga let me tell you if she misses SAG Gaga is done in the Oscar race

Gaga to film critics after she heard them say she was "losing steam"

Gaga did manage to sneak into the Georgia nominations as posted above but out of the last 8 regionals to announce a winner or nomination set Gaga has only managed to get into 1 of those, hence why people think she's losing her steam.
