Nowadays music is not worse or better than it has ever been tbh. In the 90s, for example, there was bad music and good music, now we just have more content because of internet but that's it. There's a lot of potential in so many artists rn, some are more mainstream, others are not, but they have that star factor and they care deeply about their art: Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, Alice Chater, Allie X, Doja Cat, Au/Ra, Ghostemane, Kim Petras, Poppy, Rina Sawayama, Troye Sivan, YUNGBLUD... It is exciting to see these artists evolve and becoming the stars they were meant to be

Yeah, and 911 had the viral exposure for the transition... that of course added more streams to it. I agree that they had to invest in the transition because it became viral, but that’s about it. A good mv for the next “promotional single” won’t do the same as the 911 video, but it won’t far less than it did.

I kind of expected more views for the video on its 24h. She has the 1st single hype... maybe the impressive numbers will be on Spotify and AM tho

Originally having 5 million streams more on Spotify doesn't mean people (as in GP) prefer 911 to any other song that had +30M streams on Spotify before the 911 video dropped.
