I was aware of this trend. It recently blew up because of the dancing Shrek filter on the app (). I'll keep an eye on it. The only thing that worries me is that the impact it will have on the streams won't be as high because it's a mash up with Gimme More. But, I'm willing to be proven wrong by TikTok! There's a LoveGame trend with the Gimme More instrumental. It currently has 14,1k videos and there's quite a few recent videos with a good amount of likes. Let's see if it pushes the song further on streaming!

Yeah, but even then, Judas should have gotten more streams according to the impact the little trend of Telephone. 3,4k videos vs 50k videos a day is a Big difference.

Tbh, I'd say we are already winning. The song is growing on streaming day by day (until now ). If it's working, I don't complain. The only thing I won't expect is the song getting further than 350k streams a day. But who knows at this point, maybe it gets growing more and more.

It has become a little viral on TikTok (around 200k likes now) and it has So Happy I Could Die on it AKA one of the best songs on TFM.

Tbh, I don't think I understand TikTok anymore lmao. For reference, I remember Judas getting 50k videos a day from a trend and it got just as much of a boost as Telephone. Why is this happening to Telephone? I have no idea. Maybe it's just clicking with the TikTok audience or maybe the trend is being done by a lot of very famous accounts and the impact is much larger than with Judas... I honestly don't know at this point.

She now has almost gotten to the 4.5M monthly listeners! NEW PEAK. After plateauing for a bit, she's starting to gain monthly listeners quite rapidly again (due to the trend of LGBT on the clock noise app). On a serious note, the trend is quite little at the moment, I'm quite surprised the numbers is pulling when we've had bigger moments on TikTok with other songs with much more disappointing effects on streaming. I'll give an update on the trend sometime this week.

Maybe we should lower our expectations a bit.

Not CupcakKe getting YET ANOTHER trend on TikTok! The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, etc. This time, the trend is for her song “LGBT”. A BOP I FEAR, deservedT! It might not be very viral, but enough to push the song to 10M streams faster.

Yup, that’s definitely very good. I’ll keep an eye on the viral sounds in case they see a steady increase in the number of videos during the week. It’s better to not expect the song to go much higher than this. When we get the numbers of streams compared to the increase of the videos we can predict more or less the impact of the trend.

In my expert opinion on the matter with many years of experience on the field () I'd say that what it's causing the resurgence is that sound and the CupcakKe remix. Why? Because the song (CPR) is still getting very cute updates on Spotify (it's "popular" to some degree to the TikTok demographic), maybe they heard the remix quite a while and they stood around to stream LoveGame. Of course, I do think the other sounds contributed to some degree.

I don't have to worry about a possible trend going nowhere if there isn't one to begin with.
