Not really, I have seen that the viral video using Applause has doubled its numbers of likes to 660K views and 2,3M views tho. So maybe it's because of this? There are no active trends using Applause at the moment I think.

I mean, it’s understandable that we, as Gaga stans, want the best for our idol and to have “special treatment”. Plus this is actually the first TikTok trend to really blow up from Gaga, expectations are high. But yeah Another important thing that we are kind of leaving behind is New Year’s Eve. I think this day could be big for Gaga’s discography, especially Bloody Mary. The song is currently in one of the main playlists related to the event and the fact that it went viral not too long ago may help the song. NYE parties play party songs that have been hits during the year, and one of those popular songs that fit that COULD be Bloody Mary.

Yeah, exactly, and what is the streaming difference today between Bloody Mary and Die For You? Literally less than 200K plays. You are overestimating what playlist reach can do for a song. Bloody Mary is getting its majority of streams thanks to the TikTok push. Also, Die For You’s peak was at #19 (don’t know the number of streams, but this was before Christmas) while Bloody Mary’s peak was #25. Furthermore, in these last weeks, there has been a few days in which Bloody Mary has outstreamed the song despite the playlist reach. What I’m trying to say it’s that it’s not over because it’s loosing a few streams. This is not a “Stupid Love is extremely stable” situation, it’s starting to being sent to radios WW. Let’s just wait for a few more days before judging everything.

Girlies, we’ve been through this conversation for a long long time now. Mockingbird by Eminem (Interscope) and Die For You by The Weeknd (Republic) both got huge streaming surges because of VERY BIG TRENDS on TikTok, just like Bloody Mary. Both of these songs don’t have one single Hot Hits Playlist add (Bloody Mary at least has Brazil) nor TTH, and they’ve been viral for a lot more time than Bloody Mary. New songs get on good playlists because they are NEW SONGS BY ARTISTS WITH HUGE FOLLOWING. If Gaga releases her new single for LG7, I’m pretty sure she would be given the TTH add and even the cover if it’s not a very competitive week. With this I’m not saying that there isn’t payola, I’m asking for a little bit of common sense. No matter how good your label is, if you are a nobody, your single won’t get on TTH just because they feel like it. I’m also pretty sure that Spotify is pretty hesitant to add viral songs like this one if they aren’t “new”, seeing how they treated the examples above and RUTH. STOP THE DRAMA, PLAY BLOODY MARY.

It’s not viral tho (as of now). The great majority of the videos are from 2018, 2019 & 2020. However, this viral video may put the sound under the user’s radar and use it more. But, as of now, we only have that viral video, which probably has been the main reason for Applause’s little jump on streaming. Hope it becomes viral and ARTPOP has its justice.

Oh wow! I think this sound is gaining FAST!? When you shared it, I think the sound had around 15K videos, now it has 18,1K videos! I hope I’m not being paranoid. @Dean Spookchester maybe there’s still hope for Miss Judas! I’ll track the sound from now on!

At the end of the day, ROM will be one of the seven +1B streamed songs that Gaga will achieve in the upcoming years: ROM, BR, Shallow, ARUTW, PF, JD (& Bloody Mary hihi). Others don't even have one +1B streamed song if it's not a collab for other artists.
