Applause on TikTok: 6693 videos (+317 videos) As some of you have pointed out, this trend seems to be more driven by individual sounds instead of all the new uploads being concentrated in viral sounds. The good thing is that they either use the normal version of the song (that gets detected by TikTok and credits Gaga) or they normally use the hashtags #Applause or #applauseladygaga, who may help those who want to find the song if they are interested. The last hashtag has 6,4M views as of today (keep in mind that NOT all of the edits using the song will be tracked under this number of views) I forgot to track the official uploads (I've seen a few edits using these sounds), so I'll track them for tomorrow. You can’t see it. What you can see is the “Add” button on videos. The video that “created” that audio had the 10K adds I was talking about. Maybe that is a good indicative of the future of the sound who knows? Let’s pray for TikTok queen Bloody Mariana.

The viral videos, the links for the sounds or both?

Applause on TikTok: 6376 videos Unofficial Sound 1: this one has the most potential out of all of the, for now. Although it only has 13 videos, the video with this sound was only released 1 day ago, and it was saved by 10,6K accounts, many of those may use this sound in the future for their content. There are no viral videos as of now. Unofficial sound 2: it has 129 videos, quite a few recent videos and a few of them are semi-viral. Unofficial sound 3: 713 videos, very few recent videos. Unofficial sound 4: this sound is attached to a semi-viral video with 115K likes that was released 4 days ago. It has 28 videos, but not viral. Unofficial sound 5: this one is the sound that video of anime used. It has grown only 100 videos since that viral video came out, so there is not a trend. The rest of the sounds are basically the same pattern, very recent videos, but none of them are viral as of now. The viral anime edit now has 884,1K likes and 3,7M views. A video of two women dancing to the sound was released yesterday and it got 289,1K likes and 1,8M views. This might have had an impact on Applause’s streams.

I found a few things about Applause on TikTok that are quite interesting. I have to compile all the sounds that I found and I’ll make an update ASAP. But yes, we could say that TikTok is the reason behind Applause’s growth.

For this trend, I’m going to start including another sound that contains the normal version of Judas (not sped up) that has 644 videos. Here, there are a lot of very recent videos, but none of them are really viral. We’ll see with the upcoming days.

Monster TikTok Update: 4134 videos (+113) Well, again, I see potential, because every now and then, a new semi-viral video pops up, but, as of now, it’s not getting anywhere.

Judas TikTok Update (2 days): 29,8K (+1700) Yeah, this trend is not exploding yet. I see the potential, but we need a few big accounts and perhaps this way it can have some momentum. Still, I think this will help Judas stay stable in the 600K/700K streams for some time, so as long as it does that, this sound will be worth it.

I would generally agree with this if it wasn’t for the fact that Republic did send the songs to radios. His label clearly cares, and they care enough for the song to have a decent playlist reach. I think if Bloody Mary is not already added is because they are hesitant with old viral hits getting this kind of new release treatment. Also, given the fact that labels are actively pushing for old songs to get viral / 2nd wind, wouldn’t it be kind of dumb if they didn’t really push it? I mean, even if The Weeknd or Eminem have a lot of success on the platform, it doesn’t mean that they are not going to push their material. Following this logic, The Weeknd’s new singles won’t get a push on streaming because he is already “too successful”.

Monster TikTok Update: 4021 videos Today this sound has surpassed 4K videos (I checked yesterday and it still had less than 4K). It’s not pulling great numbers per day, but it’s not too bad. There are a few recent and semi-viral videos, so I can see it doing good for the song’s streams (it has already had a few increases in streams)

Judas TikTok Update (8 days): 28,1K (+10K) The sound stalled pretty rapidly, but, thanks to the original choreo going semi-viral, the sound has had a second wind. I'll update the next 24h if I have the opportunity to see its growth.

Why is her management at Haus Labs not realizing the moment that she puts “@hauslabs” on the description of a TikTok video, it automatically flops into oblivion??? Like… gurl There’s even a very similar video with the “Everybody’s Baking” audio without the @ and it’s sitting pretty with +10M views and 1,6M likes meanwhile the new one will struggle to even get to 1M views and 100K likes.
