I think there are differnt reasons.

The first one should be TikTok (the app). Many of Gagas songs are popular there.

The second one is, that this year was the first years since 2013 that Gaga has released high budget and creative music videos. The GP saw her quality and checked out her older stuff.

Imo it’s because she released with Ariana and Blackpink and the music she came up with was much more enjoyable to casual listeners (and her most acclaimed yet)

Some of Britney's classics had their biggest year ever on YouTube in 2020 as well, I guess YouTube is dead for new English releases but people still go there to revisit old songs?
