Literally since SWU and BMH, Ari, Bieber, and Dua released at the minimum 2 more singles... May was decades ago in the streaming era... Whatever 911 was it was not a single... I think they thought the MV and pillow bashing would've gone super viral or something... Bobby Campbell has had the easiest 2020 imaginable

I mean the video was pretty hyped/viral during release doing almost 10M views first day. They can't except a mv for an old song to do anything more then that when they didn't lift a finger to help it after release

I think they were testing the waters with it sending it to radio in some non English-speaking countries and seeing what would happen organically... It wasnt long before it was taken out her bio, and they changed the title of the MV 3 times... It was the best choice out of a bad bunch lbr, there's nothing left on Chromatica to sustain it imo past Sour Candy but even then I couldn't see the album track version being added to TTH (see Dua's Levitating). I honestly don't think they thought ROM would fall out as quick as it did vs. How Ari's positions is performing on streaming, otherwise they may have delayed the album altogether lol
