Hi ALL,   Just a reminder that the purpose of this thread is to discuss chart activities, trends etc. ALL opinions are welcome as long as their not dragging the artists or your fellow Popsters. It's not unreasonable to ask that we respect each other. If you don't agree with someone's opinion please report their content and if need be, block them to avoid further conflict ( WE CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH). It's not fair that we have to inconvenience everyone by closing the thread  because

It's the boring mix of The Cure and Heal Me nobody wanted. There's a reason it's on a deluxe edition and will never see our streaming services.

Chromatica just sort of wraps up neatly. The 3 acts all flow very well and adding another track may lower the overall quality unless she adds an entire act 4. Then again there's the issue that brevity of the album allows you to repeat it more often.

Leave Chromatica as it is. If she wants to expand the Chromatica universe she should just release a separate EP with its own sound and unique feel. Chromatica is perfect the way it is.

Back than, RIAA uses the rule 100 streams/views = 1 single unit, but they used the worldwide YouTube views for it´s certification. Nowadays it should be around 10 million units.

 

The same happened to "Baby" by Justin Bieber. It´s certified 12x Platinum.

It wasn´t a tank (7,7M US units), but highly overcetefied. 

If you would use this method today "Bad Romance" would be eligible for at least 20x Platinum.

and they already did, and that's why they haven't updated it ever since and it would have less units now that it did a few years ago.

It could have been higher though. Don't think it doubled in units since the rule change.
