to be fair ASIB got the exposure cause Gaga and Bradley were amazing but also cause the soundtrack was breathtaking

Yeah people use to say thank u movie!!1!! But honestly Shallow and the soundtrack became bigger than the movie, just like I Will Always Love You or My Heart Will Go On tbh

Of course. The soundtrack is amazing and deserves all the awards. No doubt about it. I’m just talking about the fact that it’s so great to have the movie playing everywhere all the time. It’s the best promo ever. This way Shallow will never die.

Don't listen to anyone who blames the success of the soundtrack due to the film, Gaga leads both in the film and on the soundtrack and all credit should be given to her. It's just their envy cuz their flop faves failed to make it in Hollywood and to drop a soundtrack that marked and impacted a decade and that threw Gaga back to the top. They mad & we keep winning.
