'Not soon but yes, late 2021. 

Why the material isn't released already: the original idea was a similar strategy to Dua Lipa's but instead of remixes different early/rejected versions with the instrumentals made by other producers. Most of them have an early 90s house vibe, and some others have been already teased to you at certain commercials. Also, there's another Big Pop Act collab. coming up in January, but this won't be featured at any Chromatica re-release (there will be a video though, that wasn't recorded with both at the same place but by separate studios then put all together at post prod.).

All the collabs. in Chromatica were planned to have a video even though some (SFA) weren't going to be promoted as proper singles (the strategy was supposed to be similar to the one with MTN and mostly focused on the fans and veteran critics)

Also, some of the videos are collabs. aswell, there's some material shot with Apple that it's already finished but in stand-by, it's not up to just one part to release it. There's more commercials coming up, and one big campaign has been cancelled for 2021."

i was so hyped by that thinking she was was gonna serve a visual album with story connecting each video  but it turned out the actual video was just a dance video then we got nothing for months

Gaga's two worst MV's have a bit of a forced storyline going on - Stupid Love and Million Reasons. Maybe it's because they don't feel good about them either and try to "cram" a storyline to save it.

I was also hyped about SL when the first teaser came out - then the second one came and I began to be worried. Still think they could have gone a campier route if that's what they were truly going for and then it might have worked.

This. SL video is not a bad video in my opinion, but the only way it would have worked is as a cute video for a promotional single.

it’s a decent video but not good enough for Gagita lead single standards. Should have been a cute video released same day as Chromatica.

Exactly. Had it came out after ROM and 911 it wouldn't have been so shocking. It is a decent video but there's a lot more that could have been done with it.

I actually really liked the MV when it debuted and dancing a long to it at 5am in the morning  The only thing that is unforgivable is that purple mankini thing. 

Despite loving SL from a fan perspective - I think my problem with the whole SL era in general was that it's Gaga's return to pop, and although it's very Gaga, she could've come back and showed why she broke out in pop in the first place - done something completely ground breaking. Rather than people think 'oh its Gaga and the song sounds like one of her old hits'  she could've done something very fresh and repayable like Don't Start Now. Instead people knew it was her immediately lol

Yes, and we also have to remember at that point ROM was coming only 5 weeks later, so they knew it'd be a frontloaded bomb that had no staying power. I

But I honestly think as a lead in that case, with heavy first week payola, 911 would've at least done better on streaming... But seeing as there was no suitable lead, maybe they should've made one. When the fanbase are calling your return to dance 'an unfinished demo from 2011', you should maybe think if it's wise to release - whether they wanted ROM to be the #1 or not.
