This reminds me: how is INLA treated (re: 2 versions)? When it Charted on BB100, were sales/streams combined? On ASIB (no dialogue), there are Radio Edits of Shallow, ARUTW, and maybe INLA. Are those all added to the original songs' totals? 

The situation re: remixes, versions, etc., is now ridiculous. The fact that a musician's fanbase can stream a song on loop for free (essentially) has already warped the definition of "success" vs. making a monetary and/or time investment to purchase a physical/digital single (playing a CD on loop doesn't count toward BB100, yet multiple streams per user do); being able to multiply that 4x debut week via "remixes" is fraud. And, sad.

There's nothing wrong with a remix/acoustic version after release, but how can anyone say Charts measure demand / consumption of music when these tactics are allowed debut week? Limit versions (on Charts) to 1/week, 2 total (3 if new artist[s] added). Release 100 Hocus Pokus versions for SPS, I guess, but it's just really weird.

If Dua secured a TTH residency with v3 of Levitating, surely Gaga could get on the bottom of the playlist with a Sour Candy (Unwrapped) remix? I guess separate totals make it a little less fun to track on Spotify, but in the end, wouldn't it be better to get: MV (1B views), new lyric/audio videos, new Spotify song (500-750M+), with the buzz needed to get playlisted, a shot at Top 40 Airplay, new digital sales, etc.?

With more Gaga, it would also feel like less of a BP song, and all of these streams/sales would be added to Chromatica, while the original would get a small boost and still hit 300-400M. Am I missing something?

You're missing the most important thing: Gaga's team is just too incompetent to do all the things you listed above 🤷🏽‍♂️
