not, it's a tactic certain fanbase has decided to use to inflate their faves number. I've never seen an official source for them. It wouldn't be a surprise that some artists sell this much in Chine given it's population but.... I still don't believe chinese numbers for western artists that out of nowhere sell massive ammounts there.

WWAFAWDWG by Billie Eilish got certified platinum in Germany last month. This probably means that 200K is what the album probably sold until now in Germany.

ASIB had sold 225K pure sales in August 2019 already

ASIB is definitely 2x platinum eligible in Germany if not higher

There is no centralised sales data from China, but there are a few prevalent music sites and some of them publish their data.
For example qq (link: https://y.qq.com/n/yqq/album/002Hn8hj0sYB7z.html) shows that evermore has sold ca 123k units. I remember that other websites also show those numbers, but I can't seem to find them. So it is not impossible that evermore has sold 200k albums, but also IIRC digital albums are like 2-3 dollars in China so it is easy to get high numbers.
