Bad Bunny's new song Dakiti debuts #9 on Spotify WW with 3,7M, becoming the highest charting non english song at the moment. I guess it can rise a little bit as Ariana's album bomb falls.

#1 in Spain, Chile, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama etc

#2 in Colombia,Mexico (behind Hawaii in both countries)

I feel like what makes Bad Bunny get such good numbers WW is the hype he has in non-spanish-speaking countries, because there are artists that do better/as good in most spanish speaking countries then tank worldwide.

Spotify has grown a lot since 2016 as well and Joanne was kinda floppy at first lol 

Imo positions is a good debut as is Chromatica. To expect more is having high standards... They can't deliver every time, but pulling 45m+ shows star power and that people check for you. I think Chromatica would've beat Lover with ease had it been more of a hit with the GeePee, and it also would've beaten lover on the original rollout (Stupid Love more recent and probably still on TTH)

Its kinda is good sign, how Gaga is in almost same range as in Ariana/Billie.  With right song she can easily get another hit, GP still pays attention to her.

 

Also, Smile(2020) did less than Witness(2017) on first day, despite spotify growing exponentially since then

Having such super high standards both for their faves and for other artists (but specially the latter) is what makes certain fanbases so annoying

some fanbases are too used to their fave winning everything and/or breaking every streaming record
