ROM 4 months on TTH, BMH 7 months and ROM was always doing way better streams. Also while on TTH BMH was always higher than ROM on the playlist.

My argument was literally that streaming numbers are not everything.

l think the misunderstanding here is that you think we are against payola. But the truth is that we would all love it if Gaga had payola. However, She does not have it, so it feels unfair for Gaga to be compared to artists who have HEAVY payola.

Streaming numbers aren't everything. There are other metrics to justify playlisting. Marginal streams, freemium/premium composition, returning rates all play a role. Spotify is a business. They don't care about providing playlisting to the most successful songs. They only care about what brings them the most money.
