I have updated the Guidelines here. Please take a look as I open this thread back up. I am going to give a pass to the fighting that happened earlier, but will consider everyone to have been warned and ready to receive points moving forward. We do not want people to attack one another, incite more fighting or to continuously drag artists. You don't have to agree with everyone. except the similarities are in rhythm and melody not "dreamy chorus with airy vocals" 

 

One last thing I want to say about the topic its that it's funny how she went the Lana route after NFR got more critical acclaim and better grammy noms (as if it mattered bc both went home empty handed but anyways). I never understood why the critics decided to suck up to Lana out of nowhere when she released that album either.

The first one is a very common slang widely used in songs.

Like "out & about", "safe and sound", blue for sex, rose colored glasses, etc..

Still haven't listened to Evermore as a whole but I like the lead single way more than I did Cardigan.

OT: Can't wait for the numbers for both Evermore and Folklore tomorrow, will be fun to track.

Same here. Havent got time to listen to it in full today. Willow video’s cinematography is really good too
