But that aside I definitely think Ariana is underrated when it comes to her influence on music. She hasn’t had one flop era and probably never will because she’s such a likeable queen - even Yours Truly her debut was solid and had like 3 decent hits 

the problem (no pun intended) it's that there's no way to determine objectively when a song is a hit thanks to the feature or not. For example, are we gonna pretend Dark Horse was a hit because of Juicy J? or Just dance because of Colby O Donis?

But I agree Ariana has benefited a lot from collabing with very relevant artists while he made herself a MPG, and then she cemented herself with solo smashes once she was already a massive artist.

I'm sorry but comparing Billie to Lana is not right. 

The charts runs of Billie's album are insane everywhere. In fact, not even Katy, Rihanna, Beyoncé had a slayage like that in the official charts album around the world.

To me she's kind of like Rihanna for this reason; she collects hit songs each era, decent to good album sales each album cycle, lots of collabs/features, and is able to hop between urban and pop sound with ease.
