They updated some certs this year but Bad Romance was certified 11xPlat in 2015 and since then it even re-entered the Hot 100 with the SB and has good recurrent streams, it’s definitely at 12xPlat and PF at 11x Platinum instead of 10

It’s really impressive to see that generation of female pop singers (Gaga, Katy, Taylor, Rihanna, Adele) that rose in the late 2000’s and that got multiple Diamond singles like it ain’t nothing, nowadays it seems so hard to achieve that kind of things but they all made such big hits between the late 2000’s-mid 2010’s

Even male artists nowadays often only achieve this once in their career

Bad Romance was certified 11x with old rules when 1000 streams equaled to one unit, now its 1500. Around 5.5m from that 11m were from streams. Around 1.8m units are lost by new conversion.

Also there were some claims ww streams were counted but i don't think that was truth but probably made up by oghs

He has one Diamond (The Hills, 11xPlat) song in the US, 2 8xPlatinum (Starboy and Can’t Feel My Face) and a 7xPlatinum song that were updated this year so they won’t go Diamond anytime soon

BL is at 5M units and it will maybe get there in a few years, especially with the Super Bowl push he’ll have

Those stats are impressive, it’s funny that both Earned It and Starboy were huge smash hits WW compared to The Hills yet it’s his biggest hit in the US by far
