I'm guessing 911 truly is just for the fans now? They aren't very aggressive with their approach in playlisting, no radio push, etc. Is the era over commercially speaking? Just see what it does on its own/mv releases?

Not complaining by the way, just wondering.

Lady Gaga isn't capable of doing an album as bad as folkbore.

Anyhow, the way she got GLOBAL smash hits with Million reasons and Shallow , arutw even though they were folksy ballads/had a local to america sound. Her power knows no bounds.

Taylor with cardigan (and her country/folk discography) can't relate.

because it's a country song??

good song doe

Great song, that Charlie Puth feature (clearly released just to go higher on the billboard charts/more radio play) version is GOD AWFUL. He ruins the song so gd much

Nicola said the era was just getting started with the VMA performance. That would be insane if he knew that only meant a couple interviews and one more video were coming lol.

I was about to say. Far more than stats, STOP antagonizing an artist who was supportive of Gaga at her lowest.

Folklore is an incredible album that benefitted from perfect strategic timing.

We shouldn't be jealous. We should just be sad that a global pandemic was the literal WORST time for Gaga to drop a return-to-form electronic-dance album - no clubs, no parties.

Rain On Me was the only thing that was perfectly-timed-- for a week. We had reached the point of the pandemic where people wanted to dance and escape. The message of the song resonated perfectly. And then the BLM protests started and all of the sudden the message of the song couldn't work with people. :(

Gaga and Taylor basically switched genres and back again

Gaga went pop to jazz/country-pop-rock then back to electronic dance

Taylor went to pop then back to country-folk

And they had nothing but good things to say of each other. I listen to Chromatica for upbeat music and folklore for chill autumn vibes.

but the Hot 100 is US only and the song never entered top 800 of AM US, didn't reenter top 200 of Spotify US, barely stayed top 100 on iTunes US, no radio....

exile is already Gold eligible in the US and charted for 3-4 weeks and peaked top 10, 911 was number one of the Bubbling Under Hot 100

Im talking about Billboard 200 Exc. US tho...
