I never thought the ad would do something significant. It utters one line and completely different from the album version. And the timing with the 911 mv release was suspect.

I wouldn’t say that they are manipulating the charts rather than just playing the game. They could’ve hit #1 if radio stations were willing to play songs with Korean in it. Other artists have done the same thing and at least they are #1 due to remixes and not bundles.
