How did Charli XCX went from albums charting 1 week to Brat doing 150k needs to be studied. I was in a dive bar in Philly, USA and I heard Apple first time in August and everyone knew the lyrics, I had to Shazam the song.

The song is such an earworm. During the day I would start saying apa tapa tu idk how many times and I only listened to that song once in full and saw Bruno's stories on insta. It just stays on your mind.

Talent, dedication, staying true to her artistry 

In her own words she’s gotten so much attention and could’ve gone a mainstream way with the remix album yet she chose to stay true to her artistic vision and it’s still working

Also Charli has managed to cater to a young public with her music going viral on TikTok, when I went to the Brat rave last week it was like 80% 18-22 year olds 

Until Crash it used to be a 25-40 gay public that would buy her album first week then it’d plummet but now she’s carried by streaming

APT may be appealing to Kpop fans but to western listeners if the song was played somewhere I would ask someone to turn it off, the chorus is so annoying.
