She questioned Adam Driver’s choices multiple times tho. Even last week she was digging at him

Yes but the facts are that he’s still thriving despite the movie flops he starred in :enigma: an actor’s success is not so black and white in the film industry

This will definitely affect her acting career.

But not to the extent some people are pushing "she is never getting another role"

She was doing one movie per 3/4 year anyway, so only thing being affected is her paycheck which will be less 12M.

And honestly she’s not even doing it for the money. She should just focus on passion projects and work with directors who value her.

She has probably already decided her next role so how exactly will this affect her? :mess:
Again, Hollywood is not like the music industry. Several movies flop and people carry on with their lives. Margot Robbie had back to back flops before Barbie and she was the lead in those movies unlike this.

But how do you know that?

Again, establish full time actors already booked their roles 2/3years in advance before their current films.. Gaga is different story

Yeah money she make from movies is very small in comparison to all the other things she do. She definitely in it because of her passion not because of money.

This would have "affected her acting career" (always to an extend) if the movie would have been called 'Harleen' and totally incentered on her character like the first 'Joker' with people rejecting her and critics panning her performance, but her being supporting sidelined in this was the biggest bad criticism for this movie, her performance is being praised, she has no fault in this when the director did her wrong in first.

That being said, I don't think Gaga was planning to continue with superheroes, comic book or big budget action movies stuff, I think that even if this was a box office hit, she would have chosen a smaller movie next anyway, the director still did her wrong with movie regardless of the success-flop.

They way how some members meltdown everyday  in this thread made me thought we will do less than 100M:icant:

This opening number is on par with Aquaman 2 and that film's final box offcie is at 439M

Gaga has a bigger name than most actors though. And she’s a 4 time Oscar nominee. That alone ensures a good supply of scripts. I’m not saying she’ll be paid crazy but she can easily do good movies whenever she wants. It’s not like the people who offered her roles will take it back after this movie.

Hopefully ga learnt from WB and did test listening sessions for the lead single :bradley:

Katy had like 20s listening parties before the offical release and we all know how that turned out.:laughga:

It's so hard to predict which song will do well on the charts tbh.

A Popster Is Born 11,830

She has great relationship with Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Ryan Murphy and more more. I don't fear for her future as an actress, like at all.
