Yeah i think the hate is so forced and overblown that im seeing a group of contrarians emerge and be like "it's really not that bad people are overreacting" type tweets. Hope this will make people more interested to go and see where they stand.

I mean I guess you're right. I don't really care for movies, but genuinely I'd be interested to see what Gaga would in an actual drama, without the camp of HOG or Joker and without the musical elements. Just a complex, complicated woman being dealth a rough hand in life.

Ok my quick thoughts with spoilers!

Film was ok, it wasn't boring, it didn't feel too long, loved Gaga's crazy eyes and wish her story development was better, the cinematography and score served a nice to watch movie. Acting was perfect, from the whole cast, not only Gaga and Joaquin, the ending was umm idk, Lee doesn't want Arthur cause there's no Joker, she disappears and he gets killed, even tho he got death penalty this ending is quite stupid idk. As for musical scenes some were indeed not making sense for particular scene, but mostly I didn’t mind them. I love how she sounds on To Love Somebody, gorgeous moment. Overall I think the script is the weakest part of the movie, then direction.

Just booked my third viewing for tonight at my local theater and all the showings were suprisingly full. Maybe it's the flop that must be seen to be believed.
