one panned/flop film won’t hurt her. she’ll be fine if not then Cate Blanchett’s & JLC’s career would’ve been over after Borderlands & Margot Robbie’s after Amsterdam & Babylon

Margot Robbie was literally in bomb after bomb after bomb and still snatches major role after major role so JUST STOP.

this whole “I hope Gaga’s acting career isn’t over” …the amount of overdramatic comments I continue to read in this thread is BAFFLING.

I'm not really sure if Joaquin is in the position to laugh about this given he punctually made rewriting scenes at the last minute before shooting in this movie, he has his faults as well in this trainwreck.

Many films can be critically-resistant, but if so, it needs something else to propel it. For superhero movies it can also be just the characters and some fun action/dialog. If this movie had a 85%+ rating, this movie would be opening at least 50% bigger and it would have massively larger legs.

Yeah, it would never have, even if she's bad, but no one thinks she's bad. NYTimes review just came out today and particularly praised Gaga's scenes and saying otherwise the movie is a total bore.

I get this but I do think yelling at people about it doesn't help much either. Some people just react the way they do and it's better to let them know not to worry than let it annoy you. And a lot of people don't know.
