Maybe she wants to build up an air of mystery around this era, something that was so incredibly captivating during the TFM era. She was very enigmatic with her image. It was something you could start to notice falling away bit by bit through the BTW and ARTPOP eras where she gave so much access. I dunno. 

Maybe she just wants to release a banger and let it do its work. Or just start blitzing when it's finally out.
