If she had released a song like Paparazzi she could’ve definitely smashed because I think it fits into the current landscape for pop songs nowadays but again this is Gaga and by the snippets we’ve heard so far it was clear she was gonna disrupt  what’s currently trending. Maybe Miss Asia was right when she said the lead should’ve been Girlfriend

I agree Disease basically needs to crack TikTok, yeah. I’m surprised at the amount of friends getting to know new songs only through it (which at my age of 27 is kinda questionable since they experienced years of pop culture in other forms but it is what it is)

We all know that an EDM song in 2024 would have not smashed instantly, that is why the song needed a totally different approach, TikTok promo of her with the song and video instantly.
