The problem with some chart-obsessed stans on this forum is that they have very high expectations for Gaga. Taylor, Beyonce, and Miley are her only peers who managed to secure huge solo hits more than 16 years into their careers. Other big A-listers like Rihanna and Britney are completely gone from the music scene. Katy would have flopped with any music (regardless of D. Luke's involvement). Taylor is a megastar who takes her commercial success very seriously, Beyonce's hits were rather frontloaded, and Miley's smash hit was a very rare once-in-a-decade occurrence. The success of DWAS convinced you that Gaga's solo material would smash as well (when it clearly was very unlikely). Just accept that she is not interested in commercial success anymore (and the GP is not really interested in her either tbh). Or you can spend a decade bragging about DWAS receipts like Christina Aguilera stans.
