That’s the point, songs need sumtn to catch on and mv opens possibilty for that. Its very rarely song just smashes for no reason

Back to DWAS, most of the early trending videos on tik-tok were about Bruno's high note followed by Gaga's moves.
I do believe that a striking music video could help the song and help a new trend on Tik-Tok.

The music video was supposed to influence TikTok in creating a trend indeed, but clearly it's not automatic, this is why waiting for release it doesn't make any sense with the song keeps losing momentum.

Gaga would never have a hit song according to these expectations. We ignore stuff before streaming era cause She promoted the sh!t out of all of them but in streaming era none of her hits just magicially smashed of the gate  with no video viral moment or whatsoever. That’s also the caee for most hits nowqdqyw unless ure Taylor who has stanbases pulling huge Numbers for any Random drop. Deciding gp hates the song over second day drop is just giving ignorance.

Yeah video did the heavy lifting for the song. Like its not garantuee video will have viral moment but for now its our best chance

thats fair but future nostalgia already had a couple hits before levitating became the biggest one out of them which is insane tbh and that gave FN so much longevity 

while LG7 has a single thats DOA and maybe DWAS attached to it to not make it look so horrible
