The original tempo (101 bpm) really does not agree with me physiologically :icant:

I listen to 1.1 to 1.15x speed to bring it to above 110 bpm and it rockets from a 6.5/10 to a 9/10.

Same thing with Bloody Mary (100 bpm), which is why the original did not go viral. The sped-up version did.

Popster to Popster 3,311

This time i don't even fear the chart positions (at least in US) cause the music is so good, listening the song is the only thing i care: i need to hear it every 10 mintues, it's addictive

It’s interesting. I see you having issues with the tempo from the start. I love it though.

Don't you think that build-up from the bridge to the last chorus is one of the best things in Gar's discography though? Everytime I listen to it I have to go back :darkmode:

It has a lot to do with one’s physiology. Your body has a rhythm range that it really likes, supposedly tied to things like the heartbeat, walking cadence etc. My typical walking cadence is around 110, which is probably why 101 bpm feels just a little too sluggish.

I say this in not a shady way I never expected anything from PopGa.
After we got DWAS, I stopped worrying about charts and have just enjoyed the song. I love the sound she’s gone for and the bridge, also she’s really gonna solidify her artistry with this. The strong production shines !

success side I’m worried about her movie career. Be interesting to eee how she navigates that
