No, a song from the movie. Like That’s Life or another dramatic ballad. Old school lyrics aren’t as cryptic as today’s music, they said exactly what they thought. That candidness is really easy to take and translate into trends. I mean, I could see That’s Life being taken as a sarcastic “welp, that situation sucked” trend, with the song being the audio. Someone could start it now with the trailer clips really

I think if it did go #1 it would’ve given BTW an even bigger debut and likely would’ve helped the following singles perform better too. Judas kinda kneecapped the entire era in retrospect.

I've always tought that The Edge Of Glory should've been the lead, then BTW with the album release (and this is important cause the message of the album would've been clearer) and Judas (far from Easter) could've been its moment without religious troubles, the Marry The Night to close the era and the orginal/planned ARTPOP in 2012 during the BTW tour
