Popster for Sale 44,631

So I have a theory that LG7 era might be inspired by the greek myth of Persephone, I'm just going to drop it here:

Spoiler

Persephone is a mythical figure in greek mythology who is both associated with spring/flowers as well as the underworld. She was abducted by Hades (who is the king of the underworld in greek mythology) and forcibly brought to hell. There she remained and eventually she became the queen of the underworld. Here is a quote from the wikipedia page about Persephone.

Spoiler

«In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Persephone (/pərˈsɛfəniː/ pər-SEF-ə-nee; Greek: Περσεφόνη, romanized: Persephónē, classical pronunciation: [per.se.pʰó.nɛː]), also called Kore (/ˈkɔːriː/ KOR-ee; Greek: Κόρη, romanized: Kórē, lit. 'the maiden') or Cora, is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. She became the queen of the underworld after her abduction by her uncle Hades, the king of the underworld, who would later also take her into marriage.

The myth of her abduction, her sojourn in the underworld, and her cyclical return to the surface represents her functions as the embodiment of spring and the personification of vegetation, especially grain crops, which disappear into the earth when sown, sprout from the earth in spring, and are harvested when fully grown. In Classical Greek art, Persephone is invariably portrayed robed, often carrying a sheaf of grain. She may appear as a mystical divinity with a sceptre and a little box, but she was mostly represented in the process of being carried off by Hades. »

This might mean nothing but I think it's an interesting idea to speculate over because there have been two consistent themes that she has teased simultaneously since early this year- both hell and flowers/nature. Other than the obvious "demon" "going to hell" references, she's also given us the "gimp of the garden" as well as many flower references (the dress she has worn multiple times and many emojis). Given the themes she talked about during Vogue interview what if she uses an abduction into hell to metaphorically represent her struggles with fame - and vieweng herself as Persephone? Maybe this will one of the themes in the album. I doubt she'll stick to only one. She's also been expressing an interest in the cyclical aspect of nature before and during the Chromatica Ball.

This brings me to another interesting aspect - according to greek mythology Persephone returns from the underworld each spring, and she spends half the year in the overworld and half of the year in the underworld. This would make the release date conceptually in line with this myth, though I'm a bit skeptical of that influencing the choice of roll-out to this extent.

A Popster Is Born 16,835

not Taylor & BTS catching strays :icant:

he hates Ariana but loved ROM along with "House" songs like Stupid Love, Replay, Enigma & Babylon

Was really rude to Blackpink and KPop

Overall, he called Chromatica "basic" for Gaga's standards especially during the 1000 Doves part calling it Disneyland :icant:

This alone has more impact and is more "deep" than anything she has done since 2017. She shoud have come back with this sound and her old pop rock

I don’t think roar sound is the right choice, something like OOTB will be more accepted and paradoxically could sound even more mature
