In India we have 22 official languages and each states has their own artist with their own language songs. most of the general public won't listen to international artist cause we already have tons of artist with quality music. You can also observe the number 1 song in Spotify India won't have that much lead to the followings songs or TOP 50 cause each of the songs are from different language production company with Different audience. Not even Taylor, edsheeran or the weeknd's new stuff will chart here unless it got huge push from instagram reels and stuff.
