I just got back from my screening and he is the problem here unfortunately. Keeping it non-spoiler, the issue is actually that the only risk he took was making it a musical.

Gaga ate with what she was given (which hopefully stops happening between this and HoG)

I find it interesting that all the reviews I have seen from critics at the LA screening are actually pretty positive while Liddos are melting down over the movie…
